May 5, 2006How to differentiate your business
May 12, 2006Here are some excerpts from a seminar I gave recently.
What Motivates you? –
- What do you really want from life,
- what is your ambition,
- What is your true desire,
- what sets you on fire,
- what makes you jump out of bed in the morning?
- What makes you want to do those extra 5 pressups
- what makes you make those 5 extra cold calls
- what makes you spend 10 minutes extra researching your potential customer
- what makes you read your proposal just one more time
- what makes you read sales books
- what makes you want to be a better person
- what makes you really want to win and be the best
When you know the answer to these questions, you know your motivation.
A motive is defined as a reason or desire to take action.
without a clear motive, we might as well just not do anything, since we can not hope to achieve anything that matters to us.
Find your motive, think about your motive. Now create your goals, with your motive to drive. Speak like you have achieved your goals, think like you have achieved your goals, visualise yourself with your goals achieved…What does that think like…Does it feel, taste, smell, sound and look good
OK now DO SOMTHING to achieve that goal
and good luck
